Ever felt like you’re checking all the right boxes—earning that degree, excelling at work, being kind—but still feeling this deep emptiness inside? That was me a few years ago. I chased dreams for all the wrong reasons. I initially went to school to become a doctor. The motive? It was about the money and making my dad proud. I went after degrees—twice—in fields that left me feeling lost and unfulfilled. It felt like I was running in circles with no real direction.
The truth? I was searching for fulfillment in all the wrong places.
Anything you chase outside of God’s will is just a temporary fix for a void only He can truly fill.
Real fulfillment? It only comes when you’re living out God’s plan for your life. You’ll never feel truly satisfied until you’re stepping into your God-given purpose. This realization hit me hard.
One quiet day, during a moment of meditation, I felt God gently guiding me: quit my secure but unfulfilling job and start my own business. I laughed at the thought. Sure, I was unhappy, but I was comfortable in my unhappiness. Yet, deep down, I knew something had to change.
So, what was the instruction? Start my own business.
Entrepreneurship—starting a business, taking financial risks for potential profit. Me? A risk-taker? That idea seemed absurd. I always dreamed of living on the edge, but in reality, I clung to safety. But with nothing to lose, I decided to take the leap.
I faced my fears and went for it. Today, I’m living my passion full-time. I run a thriving business, land 5-figure contracts, and work with clients worldwide (India, Australia, Canada—you name it). I’ve become the woman who takes risks, has unwavering faith, and feels unstoppable—well, most of the time.
There is prosperity in obedience.
Following God’s call doesn’t just bring spiritual rewards; it brings tangible success. I’ve seen doors open and opportunities arise that I could never have imagined. Prosperity isn’t just about financial gain; it’s about thriving in every aspect of life because you’re aligned with God’s purpose.
A few years ago, I'd have laughed if you’d told me I’d be a full-time entrepreneur (marketer/web developer). My dreams were different then. But God had other plans. Sitting in His presence revealed my true passion.
I’m convinced that when God created us, He gave us everything we need to succeed—personality, gifts, skills, the whole package. But to find our calling, we must trust His guidance, obey His instructions, and make space to hear His voice.
I didn’t choose entrepreneurship; it chose me. I’m beyond grateful I listened to His call and took that leap. If God is nudging you towards something, jump in with both feet. He is faithful and rewards obedience. His plan for your life is bigger than you can imagine and will bring you true satisfaction.
